After the exciting encounter with Ajax in midweek, a fixture that’ll long be remembered courtesy of Chelsea’s amazing fight-back, it is back to the Premier League this lunchtime when Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge.
It’s one of those games that could quite easily be considered to be a banana-skin with Crystal Palace having won on two occasions at Stamford Bridge, both by a 2-1 scoreline, in recent times.
Chelsea will also enter this fixture without Jorginho with the influential midfielder serving a suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards already this season. Throw in the fact that Mason Mount is also expected to miss the encounter with an ankle injury, and you can see the problems are mounting up for Frank Lampard.
