Stamford Bridge hosts a London derby this lunchtime with our near-neighbours Fulham providing the opposition.

The fixture sees the popular Claudio Ranieri make a return to the club he did so much to revolutionise before Jose Mourinho strode through the door to complete the job.

The game also gives Chelsea the chance to get that defeat, away to Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday, out of their system and try and get some momentum back into their challenge for a top-four place.

However, although Fulham occupy the position at the foot of the table, we’re expecting the Cottagers to put up a decent fight and it could be another close, nervy game.

As id the norm, we’re running our regular Match Day Moments feature where we invite you to leave your views on a number of topics including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the game.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate aftermath of the final whistle sounding.

Hopefully, come the final whistle, it’ll be all smiles amongst the Chelsea faithful.

Up the Chels!

Chelsea will line-up as follows:

  • 2-0 & the 3 points …. Now hope for a draw in the other derby so that both out closest rivals drop 2 points each

  • Sorry-ball is falling apart. Maurizio hasn’t properly coddled this group, and with last week’s harsh words against Kante, they look irreparably damaged. It’s just too much for fragile men to handle. Beginning of the end for the next manager.

  • When sarri stopped lying to himself about just wanting to “have fun”, the actual pressures of the job sank in. Dead man walking.

  • Solid7….it isnt falling apart.remind me where pep finished in league position in his first season and the trophy he won that year. pls give your manager some time to transfer his ideas….pep changed almost the whole team from forwards to defenders to fullbacks…before he began to produce great results….yes sarri hasnt gotten it perfectly but its expected….nothing is damaged, its our normal november, december blip while getting to the new system…relax your mind……its a process,we are into this together…..sarri is still doing fine!

  • Solid7 ,sarri is not a dead man walking….he is still doing a good job, having watched other 5 big teams,i discover something apart from united and the approaches to play by those teams…,pool, spurs, arsenal have better strikers, goal scoring wingers, attacking fullbacks than chelsea…..yet sarri is managing this guys at stamford bridge…..those other teams press better than chelsea cos they have been doing it for quite a while, chelsea have not been a pressing team for over 8 years now…..what do you expect?I must give sarri and the staff credit at this stage…..appreciate them thats the least you can do…
