Are we ready?

Are we ready for some more Sarri-ball?

Are we ready for hundreds of short passes, both sideways and backwards but without creating anything like the number of scoring chances we should do?

I’m probably not alone in thinking that we could be doing so much better and that our biggest flaw is we don’t get the ball forward quick enough and we allow the opposition to get too many men back behind the ball.

Hopefully, but I doubt it, we could see something a little different today, although I doubt it.

Nevertheless, we must persevere, we’re Chelsea and the club is in our blood and we have to stay loyal to the cause.

Today, we welcome Newcastle United to Stamford Bridge, Newcastle are a side we should take to the cleaners, they’re solid in defence but deficient in attacking prowess, but will it happen?

As usual, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we encourage you to drop your opinions into our comment facility, beneath this article, on a variety of topics including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the 17:30 kick-off.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it unfolds at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period that follows the sounding of the final whistle.

Up the Chels!
