Match Day Moments – Premier League – Wolverhampton Wanderers (H)

|

We’re fast approaching the business end of the season, a time where one slip can have a calamitous effect on a clubs’ aspirations and hopes.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re hoping that this season Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League next season, albeit by winning the Europa League or by finishing in the top four of the Premier League, or preferably, both.

After a dip in form that culminated in two heavy away defeats, away to Bournemouth and Manchester City, Chelsea have knuckled down and put together a run of four consecutive wins, in all competitions.

This Sunday, the Chelsea faithful will be hoping that run can be extended to five games when Wolverhampton Wanderers visit Stamford Bridge.

The previously mentioned improvement in form along with a drop in for by some of those above us, has resulted in Chelsea being in a position where top-four finish is something that is in their own hands, but they cannot afford to slip up, this Sunday, against a Wolves side that have established a reputation as being a side that likes to play attractive football.

As is the norm, we’re running our regular Match Day Moments feature whereby we ask you to leave your views, in the comments section beneath this article, on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to;

1 – The build-up to the fixture.

2 – The starting eleven named by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle has sounded.

Hopefully, it’ll all be high-fives with Chelsea having extended that winning run to five consecutive games.
