Match Day Moments – Southampton (FA Cup Semi-Final)

|

It’s Sunday, it’s a warm day, it’s football, it’s Match Day Moments. There’s nothing better than a trip to Wembley to warm the cockles of your heart, unless of course you’re a Spurs fan.

This afternoon Chelsea take on Southampton in the second FA Cup semi-final of the weekend. We’ve already seen Manchester United make it through to the showcase final. Who’ll be joining them.

Will it be a repeat of the 1976 final when Southampton famously beat United 1-0 or the 2007 final when Chelsea famously beat United 1-0, in the first final at the new Wembley.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we encourage you to leave your opinions on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to,

1 – The build-up to the big fixture at Turf Moor

2 – The starting eleven as selected by Antonio Conte.

3 – The action as it happens at Turf Moor.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period between the final whistle sounding and the match report appearing on Vital Chelsea.

Let’s hope that Chelsea start the game better than they did in the league fixture last weekend. Olivier Giroud inspired the comeback win but it’s was not great for the old blood pressure. Fingers crossed for a third successive win. Come on Chelsea!!
