With Diego Costa currently training on a Brazilian beach, his understudy from last season, Michy Batshuayi has been getting on with the business of impressing Antonio Conte. The likeable Belgian, who scored the goal that clinched the Premier League title for Chelsea in May, has had a good tour of the Far East.

Batshuayi was looking as though a season on loan could be on the cards for the coming campaign. However, the Evening Standard are running an article that states it believes Antonio Conte is beginning to have a change of heart. Following Batshuayi`s 5 goals in the 3 pre-season games that have taken place so far, his chances of supporting new boy Alvaro Morata in attack have been increased.

Considering the ex-Marseille man cost £33m during last summer`s transfer window, he would be right to assume, as would the supporters, that he`d have a chance of 1st team football. Let`s hope that proves to be the case.
