Moscow, Got To Dash

|

Is John Terry really headed for Moscow?

According to speculation that appears to be exactly the case.

Having taken time to decide upon his next career move, the media is alive with the inference that JT is set to sign for the Russian side, Spartak Moscow.

The news source, Sky Sports, is adamant that JT is set to sign a one-year deal with the Russian side.

However, another news source, the Guardian, is championing the suggestion that JT is set to sign a two-year deal, thereby prolonging his career until he reaches the grand old age of thirty-nine.

A third source, the well respected Telegraph, covers the financial aspect of the proposed deal inferring that our former captain will earn, after tax, a cool £1.8 million.

Personally, I’m not sure what to make of it, I have to admit Russia is the last place I’d expect JT to consider as his career swansong.

I wonder if he’ll continue to train in his familiar short-sleeved shirt and shorts in the midst of a Russian winter as he used to at Cobham.
