Once again, we watched on in admiration as the FA Youth Cup was won by Chelsea.

The team continued the fine tradition established in recent years and Jody Morris, in charge of the youngster, deserves the accolades coming his way.

This season the youth side were captained by Mason Mount, a midfielder who looks to have the potential to go all the way in this wonderful game of ours.

However, it seems that Chelsea have taken the decision to move Mount up a level or two and send him out on loan.

According to the good folk of the Sun on Sunday, it has been decided that, like with so many others, Mount will spend next season in Dutch football, with Vitesse Arnhem.

Amongst the many others who have trodden this road are – Nemanja Matic, Dominic Solanke, Lewis Baker and Bertrand Traore.

Hopefully, a season on loan will give Mason that much-needed extra competitive edge that regular football, at a higher level, provides.

Here at Vital Chelsea we wish Mason Mount every success.
