Our poll leaves those who view in little doubt as to what the supporters think of bringing the legend that is Didier Drogba back.

Perhaps the old adage about – never going back – has influenced voting.

However it appears, if Jose Mourinho gets his way then Didier could be coming back to Stamford Bridge inside the next forty-eight hours.

Talking about the possible recruitment of a player who scored 157 goals for us with 100 of those coming in the Premier League, Jose has remarked to the media,

“We want to win titles and Didier is still one of the best strikers in Europe.”

“We feel that Didier belongs to us.”

“He is very adapted to the needs of the Premier League. We are thinking about it in a non-emotional way. If we bring him back n it is not because he is Didier or he scored the most important goal in the history of Chelsea or because I read I need an assistant.”

“If I bring him back, and a decision has to be made soon, it is because he has qualities to make the team stronger.”

Does it all start to make sense now or are you still dead against the idea?
