Name The Starting X1 – Premier League – Bournemouth (a)

|

After the rude awakening of Tuesday evening courtesy of Bayern Munich, Chelsea get back to the bread-and-butter of the Premier League this weekend with a trip to take on Bournemouth, at the Vitality Stadium.

With Chelsea eager to secure a top-four berth, to ensure there is Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season, it is a fixture Frank Lampard will be looking to secure the three points available.

The fixture also gives Chelsea the chance to get revenge on Eddie Howe’s side who won the reciprocating fixture at Stamford Bridge, earlier this season.

But, on the back of the defeat inflicted by Bayern Munich, in midweek, who will Frank turn to, to get Chelsea back to winning ways?

With Kante and Abraham injured and with Kepa out of favour, Frank’s choices are reducing by the game.

But and this is where you come in, who do you believe will form the starting eleven the gaffer will select for this fixture?

Simply drop your predicted starting XI into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see if anyone can get it spot on.

We go ahead with a brilliant finish from Alonso …. we started poorly but are now in command.

  • ZeeNut says:

Bournemouth get back with a set-piece , Kovacic overpowered by lerma … before that Giroud missed a good chance just after the break

  • ZeeNut says:

And we concede again 1-2 …. Tomori blunder leads to the goal

  • ZeeNut says:

So many blunders from Tomori today

  • Herefordchelsea says:

Tomori is too lax on the ball he is prone to being to casual big mistake not playing Rudiger

  • ZeeNut says:

lets see if lamp can make the subs to change the game

  • ZeeNut says:

Barkely & Willian on for Jorginho & Tomori

  • ZeeNut says:

    Bats for Giroud ….

  • ZeeNut says:

    Alonso 2-2 !!

  • ZeeNut says:

We have played brilliantly last 15-20 minutes … pity we did not do the same the first 75 …. may be too late to get the winner

  • ZeeNut says:

  • Herefordchelsea says:

Regardless of lack of better quality players here, would another manager do better with this squad than lampard?? I think yes.
Because another manager would have atleast done something with his defense….

If we don’t qualify top 4 this season… Am going to call it… It’s on FRANK.
This job was too early and big for him… Yet he took it.

Again, what about the coaching staffs?? What’s their experience to help an inexperienced manager??

Solkjaer has an experienced heads with him…

Here we have staffs at franks level or one step ahead of him…
Steve Holland would have been ok… But he is with English national team…. Look for another experience head… Frank lampard, to help you!!! You ain’t doing a good job… We are here cos others are poor, if not, we would have been 7th by now.

    Got to say this….

CHELSEA, CURRENTLY IS A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM with a little bit of experience in some players.

Chelsea’s football play now is championship level…

It resemble nothing of a top team playing…
They hardly score goals… They can’t defend..

This is a like a situation where a premier league team is playing a championship team…. You expect the Epl team to win but needs an upset from the championship team.

Chelsea wins now is like an upset.

Lampard should get an experienced staff close to him…

For the umpteenth time our competitors for 4th place also screwed up ….. though ManU got a lucky point unfortunately … any other year we would be out of the running for a champions league place
