This Wednesday evening, Chelsea resume their Champions League campaign with the second-leg of their last-16 knockout tie against Barcelona.

The tie is delicately balanced, at 1-1, after the first-leg, although it is probably fair to say that Barcelona are the favourites to go through.

However, Chelsea upset the apple-cart in the Nou Camp before.

Back in April 2012, after winning the first-leg of the semi-final tie at Stamford bridge 1-0, Chelsea travelled to Catalunya looking to reach the final.

The game didn`t start well for Chelsea, as half-time approached the Blues were 2-0 and also down to ten-men after John Terry had been sent off, the rest, as they say is history, with Ramires scoring just before the break and Fernando Torres scoring right at the death to give Chelsea a 2-2 draw and a 3-2 win on aggregate.

A similar result this Wednesday evening would suit Chelsea down to the ground.

But, if you were in charge, what starting X1 would you opt for to ensure Chelsea get the result they need?

Would you play Hazard as a false number nine?

Who would you play at the heart of the defence?

Who would you play alongside Kante in midfield?

Just three questions you might need to consider when selecting your starting eleven.

Once you`ve mulled over your selection, simply drop it into our comments facility beneath this article and we`ll see if we can get a discussion going.

  • If I were picking it would be a 4-3-2-1 Courtois, Rudiger, Cahill, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Kante, Zappacosta, Hazard, Willian, Giroud. Conte’s problem will be fitting Willian in the side. Antonio will probably go 3-5-2 with Courtois, Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Kante, Fabregas, Drinkwater, Moses, Willian, Hazard.
