The last four days have seen Chelsea’s break from Premier League action result in the club progressing in both domestic cup competitions.
However, it’s time to get back to the bread-and-butter of top-flight football and this Wednesday, Chelsea make the difficult trip to the south coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
With Manchester United and Arsenal having closed the gap between us and them, to four points, Chelsea, to keep their top-four aspirations on track, need to take the three points available.
In the last fixture, against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup, Maurizio Sarri, as expected, rested his big guns with the likes of Hazard and Kante not even on the bench.
Against Sheffield Wednesday, Sarri also chose to give his latest acquisition, Gonzalo Higuain, a start.
Another player given a start was Hudson-Odoi, who also managed to get on the score-sheet.
But, will the duo feature against Bournemouth?
