This Sunday, Chelsea will play their last game of the month of October when they face Burnley, at Turf Moor, in a Premier League fixture.

Since opening the season with a Premier League fixture, against Huddersfield Town, Maurizio Sarri’s side have remained unbeaten, in all competitions.

On Thursday evening, in the latest Europa League fixture, against Bate Borisov, Sarri made numerous changes to the starting eleven that had grabbed a last-gasp equaliser against Manchester United at the weekend.

The changes made no difference with Chelsea romping to a 3-1 win, a victory that almost certainly guarantees their participation in the next stages of the competition.

One of the changes made on Thursday night saw Ruben Loftus-Cheek given a start, the England international midfielder responded in the perfect manner, becoming the first player in a Chelsea shirt, since Didier Drogba, to score a hat-trick in a European fixture for the club.

With the fixtures set to come thick and fast, in the coming weeks, Sarri will be pondering over who forms his starting eleven this Sunday, against a Burnley side who have struggled this season compared to last season.

  • Mine is :”kepa, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley , Willian, pedro, Giroud.

  • Could be no Eden so going to be a team that can out muscle them want to see a tank roll over them

  • Am I being rash in inferring Chelsea will struggle without Hazard in the starting eleven or should we be capable of beating teams like Burnley without the jewel-in-the-crown being available?

  • I think we play one way with hazard so going to have to be a different style without him after all there is only one Eden
