After comprehensively out-playing Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of the last-16 tie, Chelsea head to Ukraine for the return leg which is scheduled for Thursday evening.

With a lead of 3-0, you’d expect it to be something of a formality for Maurizio Sarri’s side to progress to the next round.

However, such is the unpredictability of the performances Chelsea are dishing up at the moment, I’m not sure I’d be prepared to wager a hefty bet on Chelsea easing through, how about you?

With the fixtures coming thick and fast, squad rotation will be something that is on Sarri’s mind.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re of the opinion that at least two or three of those who would be considered regular starters might find themselves on the bench, as Sarri keeps one eye on the forthcoming trip to Everton, this Sunday.

Naturally, the rotation policy makes the usual task of trying to second-guess the starting eleven that Sarri will select that little bit harder.

Therefore, we’d be pretty surprised if anyone manages to get the starting eleven spot on, but then again nothing surprises me that much.

Please feel free to drop your predicted starting eleven in the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see who might get it spot on or who gets the closest to Sarri’s selection.

  • The players’ attitude reflects the administration’s attitude towards building a serious team with a foundation and not next day results.
Right now our Club’s future is bleak and we should not expect miracles unless our magical Sarri!!!! uses the players in the positions they are best. His experiments are costing the club and the damage he will inflict, almost done, will be incalculable when we start losing our key players. It’s a shambles
