Name The Starting XI – Premier League – Brighton (H)

|

This Wednesday, Chelsea continue their drive towards a top-four finish and subsequent qualification for the Champions League next season, when they welcome Brighton and Hove Albion, to Stamford Bridge.

It is the first of two consecutive home fixtures, the second being West Ham United, next Monday, which should, despite the woeful style of football we’re playing under Maurizio Sarri, give Chelsea the golden opportunity to put pressure on the clubs around them who are also chasing a top-four spot, notably Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester United.

But, when it comes to naming the starting eleven that Maurizio Sarri will select, on Wednesday, it will be a challenge and a half.

Against Cardiff City, there were no places in the starting eleven for Eden Hazard or N’Golo Kante and the fans favourite, Callum Hudson-Odoi, was, once again, left to sit the game out on the bench having still not, despite being an England international, having started for Chelsea in a Premier League fixture.

Which, in our opinion, leads us on nicely to our regular feature whereby we ask you to second-guess who our Italian manager will select for his starting eleven this Wednesday evening.

Simply drop your predictions into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see who gets the closest or, indeed, spot on.
