After the terrific excitement dealt up on Tuesday evening when, in the Champions League, Chelsea came back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4, against Ajax, Chelsea are back in action when they welcome Crystal Palace, to Stamford Bridge, for a Premier League fixture this weekend.

Frank Lampard will be hoping his side can extend their run of five consecutive Premier League victories against a side that are struggling for form.

However, whilst we’re proud to point out that Chelsea, under the leadership of Lampard, are flying high, the statistics show that Chelsea, when it comes to scoring in Premier League fixtures struggle at home scoring just 7 goals in 5 fixtures compared to the 18 they’ve scored in 6 away fixtures.

Can the team readjust the balance this weekend?

As usual, we’re giving you the chance to second guess the starting eleven that Frank Lampard will opt for.

Up the Chels!

  • We need stability at the back. The foundations of a good side are based on a good defence. Watching from the stands, we look likely to score at any moment BUT we also look more than likely to concede every time the opposition attack. Especially at free kicks and corners. None of our defenders attacks an incoming cross.

We will miss Jorginho this week but hopefully Kante will be back.

I would always have Reece Jmaes at right back and Azpiliqueta at left back (until we get a solid left back) but under the circumstances, I would suggest the following:

    Kepa

    Azpiliqueta—–Zouma—–Tomori—–Emerson

    James—–Kovacic—–Kante

    Pulisic—–Abraham—–Hudson-Odoi
