Name The Starting XI – Premier League – Everton (H)

|

On Saturday Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League fixture.

After beating the red half of Merseyside, on Tuesday evening, the Chelsea support will be hoping that their side can complete a unique double in the space of less than a week.

The fixture should have provided the Stamford Bridge faithful with the opportunity to show their appreciation to Carlo Ancelotti, the current Everton manager, for what he achieved whilst managing the club before being unceremoniously removed from office, at Everton, after the last game of a season whereby the club had the temerity to only finish second in the Premier League.

However, that is currently looking as if it won’t happen with the likeable Italian picking up a red-card the last time-out after a vociferous protest against a VAR decision that cost his side victory against Manchester United.

Looking ahead to the game, we’re running our usual feature whereby we ask you to predict the starting eleven that Frank Lampard will opt for.

However, this time that could be something of a challenge that is much harder than usual with the squad hit by suspension and injuries.

Jorginho is suspended for two games and will definitely sit this one out while the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Willian are all struggling with injuries.

As is always the case, all we ask you to do is drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see if anyone gets it 100% correct.

Chelsea v Everton?

Chelsea to Win!

Everton to Win!

A Draw!

If we could finish top 4 this season, then it would have been a great achievement for frank…

Imagine where we have to play an 18yr old from the start due to injuries and introduced a 20yr old, 18yr old, 18 yrs old again as subs… And still won the game…
A time to be happy really.

We know united has spent a lot, but we are still hopefully ahead of them in the table, they are only ahead of us in progression of the team being set.

Great performance today against uninterested everton, even when they wanted to try in the second half, the 3rd goal took the wind out of their sail.

Pedro is working hard… Giroud is target man… I remember last two seasons, he drag us to a win 2-3 win against Southampton from 2-0 down.

He was instrumental in the Europa win Last season… I hope he can drag us to top 4 this season.

We were lucky Ross barkley decided to have a good game today, had it been one of his off games, we would have found it hard today.

Mason Mount… Had a great game today, his goal was top class….

Enough mention to Billy, the calmness of that guy makes me so happy…
With good help, that guy will be better than jorginho, cos he has pace and can try other positions, while jorginho only plays one position….

Azpi was interested today…. Willian good game but start to lack concentration..

    Great 3 points today…

If I was told we would be in this position now in August, I wouldn’t believe you…
