From enjoying life on the idyllic banks of the River Vltava, in Prague, this Sunday we’re in the far less enticing environment of the River Mersey as we prepare to face Liverpool, in the Premier League.
Our hosts are chasing their first ever Premier League trophy, someone remind them how many we’ve won and who has been making history, knowing that a win against us is a necessity if they are to beat Manchester City to the title.
But Chelsea fans will be imploring their side to throw a spanner in the works and inflict a defeat on Jurgen Klopp’s side, repeating a feat they did not that long ago when Steven Gerrard slipped and, much to our delight, Demba Ba skipped away to score.
Can lightning strike twice in the same place?
As usual, we’re asking you to second-guess our boss, Maurizio Sarri, when it comes to guessing the starting eleven the Italian will opt for.
Will the hectic schedule of the last seven days influence his thinking, or will it be much of the same?
Please feel free to drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see who gets the closes to or maybe spot on.
Up the Chels!
