This Sunday, Chelsea welcome the Premier League leaders to Stamford Bridge for an enticing fixture.

Although the season is in its infancy, Liverpool have already shown that they are contenders for the title, opening up a gap at the top of the table.

For Chelsea, it has been a mixed start to the new season and the Stamford Bridge support will be hoping that their side can put behind them the disappointment of losing, in the Champion League, at home to Valencia.

However, as well as losing that game, Frank Lampard saw another of his starting eleven, Mason Mount, pick up an injury thereby joining an ever-growing list of players not available for selection for this fixture.

With the squad now almost down to its bare bones, I’m undecided as to whether it makes our usual feature harder or easier.

But, as is the norm, on the eve of a fixture we’re asking you to second guess the starting eleven that Frank Lampard will opt for.

Simply drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see if anyone can get the selection spot-on.

  • With so many injuries it’s difficult to make a selection unless you are keeping a close tab on the situation (which I’m not) …. But I feel it will be an excellent match with both sides playing attacking footie , I can’t wait to see how our young guns like Tomo, Mount & Tammy fare today
