With the festive season almost upon us, the fixtures are heading our way at a fair old pace.
Hot-on-the-heels of that fantastic afternoon, against Tottenham Hotspur where Chelsea proved that no matter what form they’re in they always raise their game against that lot from N17, Chelsea are back in action, on Boxing Day, when they welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge.
Against Tottenham, Lampard surprised more than a few people with his team selection by reverting to a back-three and using wing-backs.
As a result, it saw Jorginho and Pulisic drop to the benches and a surprise recall for Marcos Alonso.
The rest, as they say, is history.
But what will the boss do for the Southampton fixture?
