After being unable to secure a place in the starting eleven, on a regular basis, for Chelsea, the decision was taken in January to send Kenedy out on loan.

The 22-year-old Brazilian ventured to the north-east to spend the rest of the season at Newcastle United, under the managerial acumen of our former interim manager, Rafael Benitez.

Since making the switch from Stamford Bridge to St James Park, Kenedy has impressed the Newcastle support and hierarchy.

In fact the Brazilian has made such an impact that one news source, The Mirror, is reporting that Newcastle are looking to sign the player on a permanent deal, once the summer transfer window closes.

Our referenced source goes on to imply that if that is the case then Chelsea will be looking at a fee around the £15 million mark for the player.

Which leads us on nicely to ask the question – should Chelsea be doing a deal or does Kenedy still have a future at Stamford Bridge?
