Now Signing This Goalkeeper Would Be A Huge Discussion Point

The speculation regarding who might fill the goalkeeper position set to be vacated by the possible move of Thibaut Courtois, to Real Madrid, has kept us intrigued all week.

Only yesterday, speculation emerged that the Italian international keeper, Click Here, Gianluigi Donnarumma had been added to a list that already included the names of Kasper Schmeichel and Petr Cech.

Today, we find that a fourth name, a somewhat surprising name, has, according to the popular tabloid publication, the Sun, now been added to the list, with the fourth candidate being none other than the former England international keeper, Joe Hart.

Hart, 31-years-of-age, is still on the books of Manchester City and is currently with them on their US tour. However, Hart is not wanted by Pep Guardiola and has spent the last two campaigns out on loan, with Torino and West Ham.

Although our source infers that Hart is available for a fee of as little as £5 million, the Chelsea support will question his suitability when they recall the season he spent at our London rivals, West Ham.

The loan move to the London Stadium was seen as a chance for Hart to resurrect his Premier League career, sadly it didn’t quite work out like that with the keeper spending half of the season on the bench, something that resulted in the keeper not being selected by Gareth Southgate for the England World Cup squad.

However, trawling the social media network, trying to give a balanced view, I did stumble across a couple of tweets that would welcome the player to the club;

And

But, which side of the fence do you sit on?

Would you welcome a move, by the club for a cut-price Joe Hart or are you vehemently against it?
