Now This Might Be Interesting But Then Again I Wouldn’t Bet On It Chelsea Supporters

|

Still mourning our disastrous FA Cup exit, at the hands of Manchester United, on Monday night, Chelsea are back in action this Thursday evening.

Malmo are the visitors to Stamford Bridge for the second leg of a last-32 Europa League tie in which Chelsea hold a slender 2-1 lead.

With the Carabao Cup Final, against Manchester City, to follow on Sunday, Maurizio Sarri needs to do some hard thinking.

Whilst winning the Carabao Cup would give Sarri his first ever piece of silverware, winning the Europa League carries Champions League qualification for next season, something I’m sure we’ll struggle to achieve via our finishing position in the Premier League.

Therefore, which would you say is the most important?

For which fixture should Sarri pick his strongest side, you know the one that contains Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso, Pedro or Willian?

For which fixture will Sarri decide to unleash Hudson-Odoi, a player who brings something extra to the side?

I’m not sure Sarri knows which way to turn at the moment, without a Plan B, team selection almost picks itself apart from the familiar like-for-like squad.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’d be appreciative to know your thoughts on the above subject matter, please feel free to leave your views in the comment facility beneath this article.
