It would appear that one of our vast army of players out on loan has been fined for committing an unusual act on the field of play.
The individual in question is our, on-loan centre-back Matt Miazga.
Miazga, who joined Chelsea in January 2016, with Chelsea paying his club, New York Bulls, £3-5 million for his services, has been on loan at the Dutch club, Vitesse Arnhem, since the start of the 2016 / 2017 season.
But, in a recent game against Heerenveen, Miazga was caught squeezing the private parts of the Heerenveen player Denzel Dumfires.
Strangely enough, it would appear that Denzel Dumfries wasn`t the most popular player in the opposition ranks with another Vitesse player, Tim Matavz, also fouling foul of the law after elbowing the same player, for which he received a four-game ban from the Dutch Football Association.
As for Miazga, his actions have brought him a club fine, with the behaviour of the 22-year-old, along with that of his team-mate, being described by the club as,
‘We have fined both because it doesn’t fit with the concept of fair play at the club.’
I dunno, it didn`t do Vinnie Jones any harm when he got a good feel of Paul Gascoigne`s private parts in a Wimbledon v Newcastle United fixture!
