One Striker Out And One In Is The Media Suggestion

|

Lurking in the media this morning is yet more speculation relating to the future of the Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spaniard who, after a decent start to the 2017 / 2018 season had an indifferent second half of the season, continues, according to the Italian media source, Calciomercato, to be linked with a return to Juventus, a club where he previously enjoyed a spell.

However, according to our referenced source, Juventus are not looking at a straight cash deal for the striker.

Instead, as our source points out, they’re looking at some kind of exchange that would see the Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain, move in the opposite direction.

Now, whilst on paper, it may seem a decent kind of deal, perhaps we should point out that Higuain is now 30-years-of-age and has no experience of playing in what is the most robust top-flight league in Europe.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we have our reservations as to whether Higuain would be an ideal replacement for Morata, but what are your views on the subject matter?

Would you support a proposed swap deal that would see our record signing make a return to Turin with an ageing striker moving in the opposite direction or is it a deal you’d advise the Chelsea hierarchy to avoid?
