|

In what could be a hectic summer transfer window!

If as we suspect and many others concur, Click Here, Chelsea are to part company with Eden Hazard this summer, with the Belgian seeing his desire to join Real Madrid come to fruition, the ideal manner in which to appease the disgruntled support would be to bring in somebody who could step into Hazard’s boots and become the darling of the Stamford Bridge crowd.

Today, further speculation has emerged that infers that could be the case.

The news source, the Independent is reporting that Chelsea are continuing to monitor the ongoing situation Philippe Coutinho find himself in at the Nou Camp.

After starring for Liverpool in the Premier League, the 26-year-old Brazilian forward joined Barcelona, in January 2018.

However, the player hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed at Anfield and has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Barcelona starting eleven.

As a result, there is a distinct possibility that Coutinho could be sold this summer.

Although his acquisition would prove to be costly and probably use up the majority of the transfer fee Chelsea are likely to receive from the possible / probable sale of Eden Hazard, Coutinho is the kind of player whose arrival would excite me.

The Brazilian has a touch of Cesc Fabregas about him when it comes to providing assists but is also more than capable of scoring, on a regular basis, from his advanced midfield position, something Chelsea lack at the moment.

But what are your feelings on possibly / probably losing Eden Hazard but bringing in Phillipe Coutinho?
