The fall from grace of Florent Malouda was both swift and without grace.

The Frenchman didn`t appear in a single first team game this season after a contract wrangle saw him fall out with the clubs hierarchy.

However, it appears that the thirty-two year old is now set to move on and, from quotes appearing in the Evening Standard, looks ready to resume a faltering career elsewhere, with Florent remarking,

“I had a problem to sort out with certain people. It’s done. Now, I’m free. I’m going to be able to play again next season. I’ve been preparing all season long.”

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to wish him all the best.
