Rumours are rife that Chelsea could be serious contenders in the race to bring the Barcelona attacker Pedro to Stamford Bridge.

Pedro Rodriguez to give him his full name, made his debut for the Catalan giants back in 2008 and has made some 318 appearances for the club, scoring 98 goals in the process.

Still just 27-years of age, the inference that Pedro has ambitions of leaving the Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge, are discussed on the Barcelona fan site barcablaugranes.com.

It appears that whilst Pedro was prepared to ignore any overtures from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris St-Germain, the prospect of a move to Stamford Bridge to work under Jose Mourinho does seriously appeal to the player.

At the moment there is no indication as to the size of fee Barcelona would require for the services of a player who, over the past couple of seasons, has seen his time in the first team become somewhat limited.

But whilst Pedro has expressed a desire to come to our fine football club, what are the general feelings of the Vital Chelsea fraternity?

Would Pedro be the kind of acquisition that would get your nod of approval?
