The long-term future of Callum Hudson-Odoi continues to generate column inches in the media.
For someone of such a tender age, the volume of media articles appearing in the media pays testament to somebody who just might have the potential to become a superstar.
The large majority of the articles published, as regular visitors to Vital Chelsea will know, infer that if the 18-year-old does, as we suspect, leave Stamford Bridge, it’ll be for the delights of Bavaria and Bayern Munich.
However, one article stopped me dead in my tracks this morning.
According to the German news source, Bild Hudson-Odoi might not end up at the Allianz Arena, instead, Anfield could be his destination.
Our referenced source is championing the suggestion that Hudson-Odoi could follow Dominic Solanke and head out of the exit door to join the current Premier League leaders.
If that is the case, and I sincerely hope it isn’t with me admitting it has to be a case of anywhere but there, then perhaps Hudson-Odoi might like to consider how Solanke fared when he decided the grass might be greener elsewhere!
