Having gone 37 games unbeaten, in a period that spanned in excess of a year, and winning 35 of those 37 games, was a last minute defeat always going to be the kind of thing that ended such a run for Shakhtar Donetsk?
Also, when you couple that fact with the trait that Chelsea seem to be developing whereby late goals are all the rage, did anyone manage to scam the bookmakers for a few quid?

However, whilst dramatic late wins are great, leaving everybody with a warm feeling inside, we`re knowledgeable to accept that ‘Lady Luck` can`t keep smiling on us forever and that, one day, she`ll turn a blind eye.

Fernando Torres, who ‘Lady Luck` shine don big-time for the first goal, has admitted as such in an interview with the media, whereby he`s remarked,

“I am happy with the result but we know we must do much better and that we have to improve.”

“We have been creating problems for teams, pressing and creating chances from their mistakes, but not when we have the ball like we used to.”

“When we needed to win, we did. We did it last season against Valencia, Napoli and Barcelona – also the final against Bayern Munich.”

“Shakhtar was really the first big test of the season and we did it as well.”

“Maybe we were a bit lucky but Chelsea has this special thing that no one can buy.”

“We all know this kind of situation cannot happen again because, especially in the Champions League, at times like these you can be out.”

Exactly, it is now time to put team sot bed before our luck and good fortune dries up, otherwise we`re going be kicked out on our backsides sooner rather than later!
