Record crowd to Watch Chelsea Ladies in FA Cup Final

|

This Saturday, Chelsea Ladies will be hoping to bring the Women’s FA Cup back to West London.

Emma Hayes side will be taking on Arsenal Ladies, at Wembley.

The final kicks off at 17:10 and is being broadcast live by BBC One.

It is the fourth consecutive year that the Women’s FA Cup Final has been staged at the famous stadium, but this final will be played in front of a record attendance for the event.

Already, more than 40,000 tickets have been sold, a fine tribute to the growing popularity of Women’s football.

In fact, with the EFL Play-Offs coming up at the end of the month, it’ll be interesting to see how many attend the League One and League Two play-off finals, will those attendances match that expected on Saturday?

With the U18’s winning the FA Youth Cup, on Monday evening, beating Arsenal 7-1 on aggregate, it could be a golden finish to the season as far as the FA Cup goes, with the men set to take on Manchester United, at Wembley, on May 19th.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we wish the ladies well this Saturday.
