Reports coming out of Turkey suggest that Loic Remy is a legitimate target for one Turkish club.

Apparently Besiktas, based in Istanbul, want to take Remy on a season long loan with a view to securing a permanent deal next summer.

Remy wouldn`t be the first ex-Chelsea player to make the move to Besiktas with Demba Ba having made a similar journey.

However, Ba has since left Besiktas to play in the Chinese Super League, with Shanghai Shenhua.

Besiktas feel that Remy would fill the void left by Ba, however the two clubs are in disagreement, so it is being reported, over the final transfer fee.

Chelsea are willing to send Remy on loan but want ?11million set as the fee whilst Besiktas are trying to get that fee reduced.

Last season, his first at Chelsea, 28-year-old Remy managed 9 goals in 29 appearances and also provided two assists.

We`ll report further if / when we hear anything else.
