Sarri Tells Chelsea’s Star-Man To Go Forth And Prosper

|

Last night, at a very cold Vitality Stadium, Eden Hazard did all he could to prevent Chelsea slipping to what was a both a heavy and an embarrassing defeat.

But it was to no avail, one man can, as they say, only do so much.

However, as the tide turned, down on the south coast, in favour of Bournemouth, I wonder if Eden looked around him and couldn’t help but think of better times ahead, for him, at Real Madrid.

If the aim is to persuade Hazard to remain at Stamford Bridge then what is occurring on the pitch, on more than one occasion this season, must be leaving our jewel-in-the-crown bewildered.

Chelsea’s activity in the transfer market has stagnated and those that have been bought in have, in my opinion, done very little to persuade Hazard that Chelsea are a club on the cusp of great things again.

But, for all the above musings, you could offer evidence that perhaps the club have already acknowledged that they are set to lose, this summer, the greatest talent currently performing in the Premier League.

Or if they haven’t then they are about to do so, following the latest verbal outburst from Mauricio Sarri.

Sarri, as reported by the news source, Sky Sports, has remarked that Hazard can leave the club in the summer, a damning statement that implies our manager, yes the person tasked with guiding us back to the promised land, is ready to wave goodbye to the only player we currently have who can get supporters on their feet with his exquisite skills.

Or perhaps, when it comes to departures, it’ll be Sarri heading out of the exit before Eden!
