Despite our recent form and our failure to hang onto a lead, our interim gaffer reckons we can still finish in the top two.

Speaking ahead of the difficult looking trip to Newcastle this afternoon, Rafa has commented,

“We never play to win in the top four, we play to win every game.”

“We will try for the top two or higher.”

“If you are the manager and say you cannot guarantee the top four, the players will think, ‘He has no confidence in us`. But I have confidence that we can do it.”

“We are a good team with good players and we have good players coming back.”

Is Rafa being realistic or living in dreamland?
