This Saturday, Chelsea are down on the south-coast for a Premier League fixture, against struggling Southampton.

The Saints, managed by the former Chelsea favourite Mark Hughes, are in danger of plummeting through the relegation trap-door and are in desperate need of the three points on offer.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are looking to turn around a recent run of poor form that has seen them collect a paltry twelve points in 2018.

The game could also be perceived as a dress rehearsal with the two sides clashing in an FA Cup semi-final, at Wembley, next weekend.

Ahead of the fixture, we’ve cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with our hosts Southampton.

Mark Hughes will be without the services of Jack Stephens, the defender is about to start a three-game ban.

The Southampton midfielder, Steven Davis, is also likely to be absent with an Achilles problem.

But, on the positive side, Mario Lemina and Shane Long should be available for selection after recovering from illness and an ankle injury respectively.

As far as injuries go, Conte will be without the duo of Ethan Ampadu and David Luiz, both of whom remain on the treatment table.

Can Chelsea take the three points on offer?
