After dropping two points last weekend, at home to a resilient Arsenal side, Chelsea visit Stoke City this week looking to take the three points on offer to close the gap on the Manchester clubs ahead of us in the Premier League.

Ahead of the fixture we`ve cobbled together some early team-news.

Starting with our hosts Stoke City:

Mark Hughes is experienced troubles in his defence. Kurt Zouma is unable to play against his parent club, Geoff Cameron and Ryan Shawcross are both injured whilst Stokes summer signing, Kevin Wimmer, is struggling with a hamstring strain.

Continuing with Chelsea:

David Luiz is ruled out through suspension, this will be the second of two fixtures he will miss after seeing red against Arsenal last Sunday.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to play despite crashing his vehicle on the way back from training, at Cobham, on Thursday.

Pedro could miss the fixture with an ankle injury.

Eden Hazard, after his start against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup, on Wednesday night, could make his first Premier League start of the season.
