This morning several news sources are reporting that these could be worrying times for Chelsea Football Club.

The The Guardian are amongst several news sources that are reporting that FIFA are investigating numerous of Chelsea`s transfer deals.

According to our source, the world governing body are concerned that Chelsea have broken the rules when it comes to signing players under the age of eighteen, with as many as twenty-five cases falling under their microscope.

It appears that the transfer of Bertrand Traore was the catalyst for the investigation with FIFA having been shown picture of the youngster, who is no longer on our books, playing for Chelsea when he was just sixteen years of age, with the rules prohibiting foreign youngsters from playing competitive football until they are at least eighteen years of age.

Chelsea are of the opinion they have not flouted the rules and insist that the game in which Bertrand Traore played was a ‘non-competitive` fixture against Arsenal.

If the investigation, by FIFA, does find Chelsea guilty, then the club will / could, be hit with a transfer ban covering several transfer windows.

Let`s keep our fingers crossed that Chelsea`s transfer dealings are given a clean bill of health by FIFA once their investigations conclude.

  • It was actually Barcelona, that initially complained to Fifa about us , when they got their ban, they named us,Atleti and Real as other teams that got away with what they did .For some reason we had a pic of Traore in that “closed door “game on out site . Interesting so if we get the ban will Conte,Hazard and TBO all leave ?. At least the ban would save us from ourselves, and maybe give kids a shot .

  • This possibility should mean that we get amy business done this window ASAP just in case and it should be quality business.

  • We best sign Caroll, Crouch and JonJo Shelvey before the ban kicks in. The way our club is run is farcical, if we didn`t have the money that we do and we were making the same laughable transfer decisions, we would find ourselves at the bottom of the second division. Our board must surely be amongst the worst in the country.

  • we had this before with Gael Kakuta and were found innocent. if the club did not take heed and were stupid they deserve it and heads should roll. A non official game for a kid is quite a normal occurrence throughout football so the Traore thing is/should be a non starter
