Surprise Twist In Store As Chelsea Look To Seal The Signing Of Star Striker

|

It is widely accepted that sometime early this week, Chelsea Football Club will complete the signing of the Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain.

It’s not a case of if but when with the old proverb no smoke without fire coming to mind.

However, according to the tabloid publication, the Daily Star, there could be a surprise twist in store before the loan move is completed.

Our referenced source is suggesting that our young defender, Emerson Palmieri, could be moving in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

A fee of £15 million is being suggested for the services of the 24-year-old who has only appeared for Chelsea, this season, in lesser competitions.

Feedback on this site, via the way of our comments facility, would suggest that there are several Vital Chelsea members out there who would like to see Emerson given a run-out in the starting eleven, replacing the struggling Marcos Alonso.

If Juventus are indeed keen on the player, that option will not materialise as Chelsea allow a player to move on who wasn’t really given the chance to shine whilst he was with us.
