Team GB Squad Announced

The suspense is over and Stuart Pearce has named the squad that will represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Following on from the speculation, Pearce has selected two from the Chelsea squad with Daniel Sturridge and Ryan Bertrand being given the nod.

For both it is a remarkable achievement but young Ryan must be pinching himself considering the manner in which his career has blossomed of late, first a place in the starting eleven in the Champions League Final and now this honour.
