6 – Your favourite Chelsea memory is?
So many to choose from, my first real memory is when I went to Wembley for the 1990 Zenith Ddata Systems Cup Final and seeing Dorigo bang in that free kick! Of recent times Zola’s goal versus Norwich, Eidur Gudjohnsen’s overhead kick v Leeds, Jimmy Floyd’s perfect hatrick v Spurs! And of course who can forget Drogba’s goal culminating in us being…. We know who we are…. Champions of Europe…we know who we are!
7 – Your worst Chelsea memory is?
John Terry’s penalty slip…. It was the most heart-breaking moment of being a Chelsea fan! Also the total biased refereeing on many European nights! Oh and hiring Rafa!
8 – Your favourite all-time Chelsea player is?
Too hard to say, I loved Drogba, Essien, Dennis Wise and Zola… But my all time favourite would have to be Arjen Robben, I’m still baffled to this day why we sold him, on his day he’s unplayable and I personally put him above CR7 and Messi. But of the current bunch Mata is having a fantastic season, I’ll stick my neck out and say if we get it right with them, both Hazard and Oscar have all the attributes to be world class.
9 – Your best ever Chelsea goal is?
I have a few, Joe Cole v United to seal the title, Mario Stanic v West Ham in 2000…. If you don’t remember it you tube it! Drogba’s goal v Bayern…. Massive game, massive pressure and up steps our talisman! Essien’s 30 yarder with the outside of his boot v the Gooners!
10 – Your thoughts on Vital Chelsea?
Great community and great debates, I’ve heard people say that it can get ridiculous and people just come on here to vent their frustrations, but I don’t see that, every member has the right to freedom of speech and create a debate amongst fellow fans, yes we invariably have differing opinions, however, it seems its always discussed with the utmost respect for each other. It would be a very boring site if we all agreed and I for one love coming on and reading everyone’s opinions, However I do need to post more!
