Back at Villa Park, when Chris Foy sent Jose Mourinho to the stands, you just got the impression that Jose wouldn`t take the dismissal lying down!

That is proving to be exactly the case!

Although the grapevine suggests that if Jose had of pleaded guilty by the decreed time he`d only have received a fine in the region of £10,000, it appears Jose is determined to have his say on the matter.

To that effect Jose has requested a personal hearing which it is understood will take place sometime next week.

We`re also led to believe that if Jose doesn`t get a favourable verdict the punishment is still likely to be financial rather than involve a touchline ban.

In summing up the events, Jose has remarked (previously) to the media,

“You see the charges and you see that I`m different to everyone else in the eyes of people. Yes, it annoys me. Of course I am treated differently. I don`t now why.”

“It`s obvious there`s a measure for some and a measure for me. I can feel the differences al the time.”

Wouldn`t you just love to be a fly on the wall when the hearing finally convenes?
