The Door Looks To Have Been Slammed Shut When It Comes To Chelsea Adding This Player To Their Squad

|

I have nothing but admiration how Chelsea have gone about their business in the transfer window this summer.

Our trading has brought some exciting talent to the squad and talent that could be labelled as world-class.

However, I always believed that the quest to bring the West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice, to the club was optimistic to say the least.

Today, 90 Minutes are reporting that West Ham United have informed Chelsea that the 21-year-old is not for sale this summer.

It is hardly surprising when you consider what the reaction would be from the Hammers support.

Also, with rumours of a takeover in the offering, would the potential be happy to see their prized asset, on the pitch, sold?

Perhaps, in what has been a whirlwind of business, Chelsea have an alternative in mind, but with the domestic summer transfer window set to slam shut on 01-October, they will need to move quickly to close any possible deal.

lets go elsewhere eg spain or germany. the current english players are overrated and overpriced and this has lead to good players being send away eg de bryne, salah, lukaku and soon rudiger. look what has happened with maguire, lingaard, drinkwater, stones and barkley. gone are the days of paul scholes, ashley cole, the nevilles , beckham, giggs, ferdinand etc
