The Race To Keep Young Starlet Starts For Real This Tuesday For Chelsea

|

For someone who is just 18-years-of-age, Callum Hudson-Odoi is generating more than his fair share of media column inches.

It seems not a day goes by without there being something linking the teenager with a move away from Chelsea Football Club.

Today, the tabloid publication, the Sun, has taken its coverage to a whole new level by suggesting that Bayern Munich, in hoping to tempt the winger into a move to Bavaria, have suggested that they will honour his potential arrival by offering the #10 shirt that will be vacated by the departing Arjen Robben, come to the end of the season.

With a bid of £30 million on the table, could this enticement swing the deal?

I’d suggest not.

In fact, I’m of the belief that Chelsea are set to play their own trump card by offering Hudson-Odoi more regular first-team football, starting with a place in the starting eleven for the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg, against Tottenham Hotspur.

Then, depending on how he performs, Hudson-Odoi’s dream of being a regular starter, at Chelsea, could flourish.
