The future of the Russian international midfielder, Alexander Golovin, continues to generate column inches in the media.
The 22-year-old, who is currently on the books of CSKA Moscow, impressed during the recent World Cup and had been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, as we reported earlier, Click Here, the suggestion has been made that the player, rated at £22 million, favoured a move to Italy.
Today, the Russian news source, Sport Express, is reporting that there has been an offer made for the player but that it hasn’t come from Chelsea or an Italian club, instead, it has come from Monaco.
Here at Vital Chelsea, we suspect that Golovin will not be heading our way, with a squad packed with midfielders we suspect Sarri’s attention will be focussed on other areas of the side he has inherited.
But is that an opinion you concur with?
