This Brazilian Could Be The New Star At Chelsea

|

If, as I strongly believe, Eden Hazard and Chelsea do part company in the next few weeks, the Stamford Bridge support, transfer ban allowing, will expect the club to bring in a big-name replacement.

One name that continues to be linked with a move to the club, transfer ban allowing, is that of the Brazilian midfielder, Philippe Coutinho.

Following Barcelona’s spectacular exit in the Champions League, at the hands of Liverpool, the Catalan giants are looking to reshape their squad this summer and Coutinho could very well be one of the casualties of the overhaul.

As a result, Barcelona are looking at selling the midfielder and the news source, Goal, is reporting that the Spanish club, transfer ban allowing, are expecting Chelsea to submit a bid.

But, according to another source, Sport, any fee Chelsea receive from Real Madrid, for Eden Hazard, will be required to meet Barcelona’s asking price which our quoted source is putting at €100 million.

Which leads me on to the crux of this article.

If such a move were to happen, transfer ban allowing, would acquiring Coutinho ease the pain of losing Eden Hazard?
