This Week Could See The Heralding In Of A New Era At Stamford Bridge

|

Is this the week?

Is this the week something happens when it comes to the managerial situation at Stamford Bridge?

It could well be according to the good folk of the Daily Mail.

Our referenced source has put its head above the parapet and boldly predicted that there will be a change in the managerial hot-seat this week with, as we reported over the weekend, Click Here, the former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri taking over from Antonio Conte and with the Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola coming in as his assistant.

As a result, Antonio Conte will get his £9 million payoff and his backroom staff will also leave the club, at a further cost of £2 million to the club.

There’s also talk that, although Sarri has been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, at Napoli, Chelsea will also have to pay the Serie A side a compensation payment moving the cost of the total package to bring about the change, close to £15 million.

However, it remains to be seen whether our news source has gauged the situation correctly or whether they’ve jumped the gun.

But, what’s your view, is it a change you believe will, inevitably, happen this week?
