Three Chelsea Stars Linked With A Milan Move

|

If the speculation that has tumbled into our laps today is correct, the phone lines between London and Milan could be very active in the near future.

The Italian media source, football-italia, is championing the inference that AC Milan are already in talks with Chelsea to secure the services of, not one, not two, but three of the current Chelsea squad.

The names in the frame being:

• Cesc Fabregas

• Gary Cahill

And

• Andreas Christensen

The first two names are probably no surprise, at 31 years-of-age and 32 years-of-age respectively, the dup are both looking for regular first-team football, something they are unlikely to get at Stamford Bridge.

However, if Chelsea are prepared to let 22-year-old Christensen leave, that would be something of a surprise.

The highly-rated Dane may not, unlike last season, be a regular in the starting eleven but his presence does add some depth to the squad and, if called upon, is a reliable performer.

If Cahill were to depart then letting Christensen go as well could leave Chelsea short of cover in the centre of the defence unless, of course, Maurizio Sarri has plans to bring somebody in when the January transfer window closes.

But, in wrapping up this article, if the trio were to be sold, which of the three do you believe will be missed the most?

I reckon, from the above text, you can surmise my view on the position!
