Chelsea’s recent form has been far from impressive as they prepare to take on Watford, at Vicarage Road, in the Premier League this evening.
Three defeats in four games have seen the merits of Maurizio Sarri’s style of football questioned.
Anything other than a win tonight will affect Chelsea’s chances of a top-four finish whilst also seeing the pressure on the manager to turn things around.
Ahead of the game, addressing the media ahead of the trip to Hertfordshire, Sarri is quoted by the media source, the Express, as having remarked about what happened in the loss to Leicester City and the way forward:
“Right now, we have to think about us. Only about our team.
“The most important thing is our reaction to this result. In the match, the reaction was not right.
“I have an idea about what happened. I want confirmation – so I have to speak with my players.
“I want to speak with the group, first of all. Then with three, four or five players.
It is an interesting final line, which three, four or five players do you think are not quite performing as they have been?
Alonso, Jorginho, are maybe two, but who else?
