Following on from a hard fought 0-0 draw at Vicarage Road last night, a fixture Chelsea could have taken all three points from if the Watford keeper, Gomes, hadn`t off produced a world-class save to deny Diego Costa late-on, we`ve uncovered a few statistics for you to mull over.

– The 0-0 draw saw Chelsea maintain their decent run against Watford, in the last ten games in all competitions Chelsea have won seven and drawn three.

– The result meant that our hosts, Watford, kept their seventh clean sheet of the season, at home, only Manchester United with eight, can better that.

– Attacking wise, it wasn`t the most exhilarating performance given by Chelsea, we didn`t have a shot on target until the sixtieth minute.

– In his post-match interview, Guus Hiddink hinted Watford may have shaded the first forty-five minutes and it was during the first half that Watford had all their shots on target, with all three coming between the 27th and 28th minutes.

– As well as having kept seven clean sheets, at home, this season, Watford also have a remarkable record when it comes to the first half in Premier League games conceding just seven, which is Premier League low.
