Last night was a good night for Willian.

The Brazilian, making a start for once, was involved in the thick of the action and managed to get on the score-sheet.

After the final whistle had sounded, Eden Hazard was awarded the man-of-the-match by BT Sport.

However, Hazard recognised his team-mates contribution and promptly handed it to Willian.

Last night was Willian`s 206th appearance for Chelsea, in all competitions, during which he`s hit the net on 36 occasions, but last night was the first time that Willian had scored a headed goal for Chelsea.

Of his 36 goals 32 have come with his right foot and 3 with his left foot, 21 of those 36 goals have come from inside the penalty area whilst 15 have come from outside the box.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we`d like to think Willian has turned the corner and can now show the form he showed during the second season of Jose Mourinho`s ill-fated second spell in charge of the club.
